Housing for the military will build partly on credit

For the construction of housing for servicemen will be involved for credit. The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said at the ceremony of handing over keys from apartments to employees of the SBU in Kiev.

“Together with volunteers we are working out an effective mechanism for addressing issues of housing provision for servicemen, and for the SBU, and for the Armed forces and other security units. This will not only budgetary funds, but also borrowed funds to dramatically increase the number of housing units and to decrease the cost by a totally transparent selection of contractors,” he said.

In addition, Poroshenko said that today received new housing 224 families of employees of the security service of Ukraine – members of the antiterrorist operation, as well as the families of security personnel killed in the line of duty in a combat zone.

As reported in the press service of the President, the head of state noted that orders for apartments received by the security personnel, who are in extremely difficult situations, including in combat in the zone of the antiterrorist operation, proved, and are daily proving their professionalism and patriotism.

“The state has finally turned to face those who are selfless and hard service strengthens its safety. Housing is an important key to the high social status of servicemen, employees of the SBU. In recent months and weeks the status and prestige of SBU employees has increased significantly”, – said Poroshenko.

The President noted a record pace of construction and high quality housing. The head of state visited a new apartment and talked to the settlers.
