The volume of construction works in Ukraine in July 2015 decreased by 24.6% compared with July 2014, with a decline in June 2015 by June 2014 amounted to 23.9%.
As reported by the State statistics service, these figures are given excluding the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and Sevastopol and the part of the zone of the antiterrorist operation in Eastern Ukraine, and the data for the Donetsk and Lugansk regions can be specified.
According to the Agency, the decline in July-2015 to June-2015 amounted to 7.4%, while growth in June-2015 to may-2015 amounted to 3.6%.
The volume of construction works in Ukraine in January-July 2015 to January-July 2014 decreased by 26.7% and amounted to 24 billion 875,8 million.
According to the report, in July 2015 to July-2014 in the construction of non-residential buildings reduction of volumes of construction was 27.5%, civil engineering – 26,6%, residential buildings is 16.4%.
According to the state statistics service, in July-2015 to June-2015 the decline in non-residential construction was 15.1% (growth in June-2015 to may-2015 – 14%), residential buildings – 5,1% (decrease in June-2015 to may-2015 – 14,8%), civil engineering – 4,6% (growth in June-2015 to may-2015 – 9.3 percent).
According to the state statistics service, in January-July-2015 to January-July-2014 reduction of volumes of construction works recorded in 21 regions of Ukraine and in Kiev, where the decline amounted to 23,1% to 5 billion 848,7 million.
The biggest decline in seven months of the current year, without taking into account the preliminary data reduction in Lugansk and Donetsk regions by 82.1% and 71,6% to 147,4 million USD and 1 billion of 53.5 million respectively, recorded in Odessa (49.6%, to 1 billion 548,4 million), Rivne (by 40.1% to 509,9 million), Zhytomyr (40.2%, to 199.9 million USD) and Chernihiv (by 39.2% to 237,9 million USD).
